1. The bail application was disposed of as withdrawn on 8th July, 2025. On the said date, statement of the counsel representing the Applicant was recorded to the following effect:
“1. Mr. Sahib Kochhar, counsel for the Applicant, states that the Applicant has already granted bail by the Trial Court on 19th May, 2025.”
2. Mr. Sahib Kochhar, counsel for the Applicant, does not dispute having made the statement in question. However, he submits that the statement was factually incorrect, as bail had, in fact, not been granted by the Trial Court. He explains that this incorrect assertion was made, based on instructions received from the counsel representing the Applicant before the Trial Court. 3. In light of the aforenoted circumstances, the application is disposed of and the order dates 8th July, 2025 shall now read as under:
“1. Mr. Sahib Kochhar, counsel for the Applicant states that on 19th May, 2025, the Court of ACJM, North-East, Karkardooma Courts has
directed the Applicant to furnish bonds in terms of Section 91 BNSS to appear before Trial Court.
2. At this juncture, he states on instruction that he would like to withdraw the present petition and seeks liberty to reapply whenever there is any material change in the circumstances.
3. Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid”.
