The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, for quashing of FIR No.109 dated 29.05.2013 registered under Sections 498-A & 406 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 at Police Station City Kapurthala, District Kapurthala (Annexure P-1) and all other subsequent proceedings arising thereof including judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 19.08.2019 (Annexure P-2) passed by learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kapurthala on the basis of compromise dated 14.02.2025 (Annexure P-3) arrived at between the parties. 2.
