2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sonari P.S. Case No. 111 of 2022 corresponding G.R. Case No. 1799 of 2022 and S.T. Case No. 600/2022, for the offences registered under Sections 302, 120-B, 34 of the I.P.C. and under Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VIII, Jamshedpur.
3. On 29.07.2022, husband of the informant namely Ajay @ Tinku had gone to drop his son to school. While he was returning home, unknown persons shot him dead. He succumbed to his injuries.
4. It was submitted that though the petitioner is named in the F.I.R., but his name has come only on suspicion. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused Raj Singh @ Raj Kumar Singh has been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No. 12178 of 2023.
5. Mr. Prabhu Dayal Agrawal, learned Special P.P. appearing on behalf of the State has submitted that the petitioner was identified in the CCTV footage while he was fleeing away from the place of occurrence.
6. Considering the fact that apart from suspicion, there is no other material against the petitioner on the record, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge- VIII, Jamshedpur in connection with Sonari P.S. Case No. 111 of 2022 corresponding G.R. Case No. 1799 of 2022 and S.T. Case No. 600/2022.
