1. By way of this petition, the petitioner is seeking following reliefs:- a. That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct
2 the respondent’s authority to grant/disburse the amount of compensation under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, with interest and entire consequential benefits forthwith/or/within stipulated time period. b. That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly direct the respondent’s authorities to decide the petitioner representation and claim positively within stipulated time period. c. Any other relief which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in favour of the petitioner may kindly be passed. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent authority has neither decided the representation nor granted any award in favor of the petitioner till date. Acquisition was done in the year 2006-2007. 3. Learned counsel for the State raised no objection if direction would be ordered to decide the representation made by the petitioner as per rules and regulations. 4. Heard learned counsel for the respective parties and perused the record with rapt attention. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case as well as after perusing the record available, this court directs the respondent authority to decide the representation (Annexure P/4) made by the petitioner with respect to the compensation for the land in question under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 expeditiously as per rules and regulations. 6.
With the aforesaid direction, the instant petition stands disposed of. sd/-
