Cr.MP (M) No.1587 of 2024 Present application has been filed for condonation of delay of 156 days in filing the appeal. It has been asserted that applicant met with an accident and sustained a fracture in his leg. He remained bed ridden and under continuous medical treatment making it impossible for him to attend the legal matters for providing necessary instructions for filing appeal in time, hence, the application. No reply to the application was filed. The plea taken by the applicant that he had met with an accident, is duly supported by the photocopy of the prescription slip dated 14.10.2024, which mentions the history of being hit by the car as well as the fracture in both bones of right leg. The prescription slip also reveals that the treatment was continued till 28.10.2025. Hence, the applicant has sufficient cause for not preferring the appeal in time, hence, the present application is allowed. Delay in filing the present appeal stands condoned.
