Heard the parties. The petitioners have been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No.10 of 2024, arising out of Jaridih P.S. Case No.138 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 20(B)II and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Bokaro. On 24.10.2024 at about 7:00 P.M., Jaridih police on the basis of confidential information intercepted a Maruti Dezire bearing registration No.JH09AK-2592 and on search, 5 Kgs. cannabis were recovered from the said vehicle. The petitioners along with co-accused were found sitting in the seized vehicle. It was submitted that the quantum of seized cannabis comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that petitioners have got no criminal antecedent and this fact has been mentioned at paragraph-12 of the Bail Application. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Bokaro, in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No.10 of 2024, arising out of Jaridih P.S. Case No.138 of 2024.
