Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 2. This writ petition has been filed for following relief:- "i) Issue a direction writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2/ Additional Commissioner (Administration) Prayagraj Mandal, Prayagraj to conclude the Case No. 405 of 2023, Computerikrit Case No. C202302000000405 of 2023 (Ram Bahadur and others Vs. Lallan Prasad Yadav and others), under section 331(3) of U.P. Z.A. and L.R. Act, 1950, Mauja Itiha Virahimpur, Pargana- Kewai, Tehsil-Handia, District- Prayagraj, pending in the Court of Additional Commissioner (Administration) Prayagraj Mandal, Prayagraj as expeditiously within stipulated period as fix by this Hon'ble Court." 3. Contention of learned counsel for the petitioners is that aforementioned case under section 331(3) of U.P. Z.A. and L.R. Act, 1950 is pending since 2023 and he prayed that same may be decided expeditiously. 4. No useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to respondent No. 2-Additional Commissioner (Administration) Prayagraj Mandal, Prayagraj to consider and decide the aforementioned case, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order after giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned and without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties provided there is no other legal impediment.
