Also heard Mr. P Saikia, learned Government Advocate and Mr. B Talukdar, learned Standing counsel, Elementary Education Department. 2. The petitioner by way of instituting the present writ petition, has prayed for a direction upon the respondent authorities for consideration of his case for appointment on compassionate grounds. 3. The father of the petitioner had died-in-harness on 01.06.2002. The petitioner had earlier approached this Court by way of instituting a writ petition, Page No.# 3/3 being WP(C) No. 7257/2023. The said writ petition was on consideration dismissed by this Court vide order dated 15.12.2023. The petitioner had assailed the said order dated 15.12.2023 by way of filing a writ appeal. The appeal preferred by the petitioner, being Writ Appeal No. 184/2024, was also dismissed as withdrawn vide order dated 12.08.2024. 4. It is in the above background that the present writ petition has been again instituted praying for the same reliefs, as prayed for in WP(C) No. 7257/2023. 5. The said aspect of the matter being pointed out to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the present writ petition has been inadvertently filed and accordingly, prays that he be permitted to withdraw the present writ petition. 6. The prayer is not objected to by the learned counsels for the respondents. 7. Accordingly, in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition stands dismissed on withdrawal. 8. It is made clear that no liberty has been granted to the petitioner to institute any fresh proceedings praying for consideration of his case for appointment on compassionate grounds.
