AD 36 July 16, 2025 Ct. 28 SG CRM(A) 2241 of 2025 Reject An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Burwan P.S. Case No.131 of 2025 dated 02.04.2025 under Sections 109/117(2)/118(2)/3(5)/329(4) of the BNS. And In the matter of: Nowsad Sk @ Nawsad Ali Sk … petitioner Mr. Kallol Kumar Basu Md. Jannat Ul Firdous … for the petitioner Ms. Sukanya Bhattacharya Ms. Snigdha Saha … for the State Heard learned counsels for the parties. Perused the case diary. Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary, including the statements of witnesses and the injury report showing inflicting of injury by ‘bhojali’ and other things and one of the victims’ injury requiring stitches, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
