GP FOR REVENUE 3 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 22925 of 2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction declaring the proposed marriage of minor girl Sneha, aged 16 years, daughter of Sri Devarakonda Srinivasulu, earlier fixed on 17.08.2025 and now on 21.08.2025 at Balanagamma Temple, Pangal Road, Anantapur, as illegal and void under the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006 and Direct Respondent Nos. 2 to 6 to take immediate preventive steps, including providing police protection, to stop the said illegal child marriage and ensure the safety and welfare of the minor girl Sneha and direct the District Child Welfare Committee (Respondent No. 7) to take Sneha into protective custody under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, with the assistance of Respondent Nos. 3 to 6 and Pass.…” 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that on the instructions of the Petitioner, they intend to withdraw the petition. 3.
