Vivek Singh Thakur, Judge (Oral) Present petition has been filed seeking the following substantive reliefs:- (i) Issue a writ of certiorari to quash the notification dated 28.08.2025 i.e. Annexure P-3 be quashed as set- aside qua Government Primary School, Farehar, Education Block Drang-2, District Mandi HP. (ii) Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to make the Government Primary School Farehar, Education Block, Education Block Drang-2, District Mandi H.P. functional/operational w.e.f. the academic 1Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the Judgment? Yes 2 ( 2025:HHC:37069 ) year 2025-26 and to start the classed with the student who have been enrolled.” 2 In response, learned Additional Advocate General has placed on record the instructions dated 3rd November, 2025 received from the Directorate of School Education, Himachal Pradesh along with copy of instructions dated 3rd November, 2025 issued by the Deputy Director of School Education, Elementary, Mandi, District Mandi whereby following decision has been intimated:- “……. In compliance with the Hon’ble High Court’s order dated 7.10.2025 in CWP No. 15798/2025 titled as SMC Farehar v/s State of HP & Ors (Regarding merger of GPS Farehar into GCPS Swar) Mandi and in pursuance of Govt. Letter No. EDN-C-E(3)2/2024 dated 03.12.2024, it is intimated that the previously merged Govt. Primary School Farehar into GCPS Swar vide notification dated 28.07.2025, shall continue to function as GPS Farehar till further orders. In this context, you are therefore directed to take further necessary action in the matter accordingly under intimation to this office as soon as possible. However, the enrollment will be reviewed in the beginning of next academic session and proposal in this 3 ( 2025:HHC:37069 ) regard may be sent to this office so that appropriate action could be taken accordingly…..” 3 In view of above, as on date the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed and nothing survives to be adjudicated. 4 Needless to say that for any grievance arising in future, the petitioner or any other aggrieved person has legal right to avail the appropriate remedy for which no direction is required to be passed.
