The petitioner challenged the action of the private respondent no.3 in tagging the phone number of the petitioner as spam/fraudster in complete violation of the direction issued by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). 2. Learned counsel representing the private respondent submits, upon instruction that, a policy decision has been taken by the private respondent not to tag the phone numbers starting with the digits 1600. 3. In view of such submission, the relief sought for by the petitioner appears to have been allowed. Nothing further remains to be decided in this case. 4. The writ petition is dismissed as ‘infructuous’. 5. Since the writ petition is disposed of without calling for affidavits, the allegations made therein are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents. 6. All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 7.
