A specific objection has, however, been taken by the learned State Counsel that Rule 4.2 (A) of the Punjab Civil Services Rules, Volume II, applies only to superannuation pension and specifically excludes all other classes of pension. He submits that late Bhag Chand Punia died while in service and the claim is for family pension, hence, the rule excludes the same.
