Petitioner has approached this Court by filing present petition, seeking various reliefs.
2. In response to the petition, respondents have placed on record instructions dated 2.12.2025 issued by Director of School 1Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the Judgment?

CWP No. 9551 of 2025 Education alongwith copy of Office Order dated 10.9.2025, claiming that grievance of the petitioner stands redressed.

Under instructions, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though, main grievance of the petitioner stand redressed, however, the arrears have been restricted for three years, prior to filing of present Petition, whereas present Petition is second round of litigation as petitioner had also approached the Court earlier by filing CWP No. 4344 of 2024 on 16.3.2024, which was permitted to be withdrawn vide order dated 3.3.2025 (Annexure P-12), by granting liberty to the petitioner to file afresh petition and, therefore, it has been claimed that three years period for claiming arrears of financial benefits is to be counted prior to
16.3.2024.
4. There is force in contention raised on behalf of petitioner.

Admittedly, petitioner has been considered entitled by the respondents for his claim prayed in the petition, but with restriction of actual payment of arrears three years prior to filing of the petition. As the petitioner had approached the Court for the first time on 16.3.2024 and present Petition is in continuation of the earlier petition, therefore, three years period for granting arrears shall be counted as three years prior to
16.3.2024.

6. With aforesaid observations, present petition is disposed of alongwith pending applications with direction to the respondents to ensure payment of arrears to the petitioner on or before 31st May, 2026. (Vivek Singh Thakur),
