Vashistha, Special P.P. --- 02 / 16.01.2025 Heard the parties. 2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Mahuda P.S. Case No. 29 of 2024 corresponding to N.D.P.S Case No. 08 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 20(b)(ii)(B) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-XI-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Dhanbad. 3. On 21.04.2024, Mahuda Police on the basis of confidential information, intercepted a motorcycle from a place near Katra river and apprehended the co- accused Gorongo Rawani. However, petitioner managed to flee from the place of occurrence. 4. It was submitted that 8.481 kgs. of cannabis was recovered from the possession of co-accused. It was further submitted that the quantum of seized cannabis comes within the purview of intermediary quantity and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. It was finally submitted that co-accused person has been granted bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court vide B.A No. 5661 of 2024. 5. In view of the submission made above, petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-XI-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Dhanbad in connection with Mahuda P.S.
