Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kanke P.S. Case No. 217 of 2021, for the offences registered under Sections 324, 307, 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi.
On 29.09.2021 at about 6:45 pm, the informant alongwith other persons was returning from Shiv Mandir, when unknown persons came on Bolero and Sumo vehicles and fired at them. Body guard of the informant was injured.
It was submitted that petitioner is neither named in the F.I.R nor he was put on T.I. Parade. It was further submitted that co-accused Md. Arshad @ Md. Arsad Ali has been granted bail by this Court and co-accused Niraj Ganjhu @ Niraj Bhogta @ Neeraj Bhogta has been granted bail by the Coordinate Bench of this Court and the case of the petitioner stands on similar footing.
In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi, in connection with Kanke P.S. Case No. 217 of 2021.
