The petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Manatu P.S. Case No. 26/2024, for the offence registered under sections 191(2)/ 191(3)/ 190/ 103(2)/ 61(2) of B.N.S, 2023 & Section 3 of the Prevention of Witch (Daain) Practices Act, 2001, pending in the court of Ms. Ritu Kujur, learned J.M.F.C, Palamau. 3. On 05.09.2024 at about 10:00 P.M., husband of the informant was murdered by named accused alongwith 10 to 12 unknown persons. The occurrence is said to have taken place because the accused persons believed that husband of the informant practiced witch craft. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner is not named in the FIR. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered on pointing out of this petitioner. It was finally submitted that similarly situated co- accused namely Yogendra Singh has been granted bail by this Court in B.A. No. 583/2025. 5. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. 6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Ms. Ritu Kujur, learned J.M.F.C, Palamau or her successor in connection with Manatu P.S.
