The petitioner has filed the present contempt case alleging that the respondent authorities have not filed a charge sheet, though this court disposed off the writ petition duly taking into consideration the submission of the learned Government Pleader that the police would require eight more weeks to complete the investigation and file the charge sheet. This Court disposed off the writ petition by recording the submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader that the police requested further time of eight weeks to complete the investigation and file charge sheet. There is a clear direction to the police to complete the investigation and file the charge sheet within eight weeks, and the police are directed to file it at the earliest. 2. Recording the same, the present contempt case is disposed off. There shall be no order as to costs.
