The case of the prosecution is that on 06.06.2020 at 4.00 hrs at Shakila Junction Rajeev Nagar, near Kurmannapalem, Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam City, while conducting vehicle check, they noticed that two vehicles on seeing the police party the driver stopped the van in a little distance and he and others tried to get down and escape from there. In the meanwhile, the Police apprehended them, seized the ganja from the possession of the Petitioner and registered the above crime. 3. Mr. Kakumanu Joji Amrutha Raju, learned counsel for the Petitioner, submits that the Petitioner has not committed any offence, he was falsely implicated in the case; he is the sole bread-winner of his family; he is ready to abide by any conditions imposed by this Court and urged to enlarge the Petitioners on bail. 4. Per contra, Ms. P. Akhila Naidu, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, argued that prima facie material is available against the Petitioner that he had indulged in dealing with ganja of considerable quantity and also liquor. It is urged to dismiss the Petition. 5. Heard leaned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor. Perused the record. 6. The Petitioner/ Accused No.3 was arrested on execution of a PT Warrant on 16.01.2025 and he has been in judicial custody for the past 225 days. The Petitioner/ Accused No.3 is a rowdy sheeter. There are altogether 5 cases pending against him. Out of which, two cases are under the provisions of ‘the NDPS Act’. As seen from the record, the accusation against the Petitioner is well established. Charge Sheet was filed and case was numbered as NSC No.75 of 2021. 7. Learned XIII Additional District and Sessions Judge, Gajuwaka is directed to complete the trial and dispose of the NSC No. 75 of 2021 within a period of three (03) months, as the Crime is of the year 2020. There are no merits in the above Criminal Petition. Hence, this Petition is liable to be dismissed. 8. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. ________________________ DR. Y.
