ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a Writ of mandamus declaring the actions of Respondent No 4 in interfering with the pending civil dispute as illegal arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently direct the Respondent officials to refrain from coercing the Petitioners to settle the dispute extra judicially”

Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that, based on the compliant given by respondent No.6, the petitioner was called to the police station for the purpose of preliminary inquiry. No crime has been registered against him, and the police are not interfering in the civil disputes between the parties.
3. For ready reference, the written instructions are extracted hereunder:
“It is submitted that on 09.07.2025 the 6th unofficial respondent approached before the 4th respondent and submitted written complaint against the petitioner herein, after the 4th respondent made entry it in General Dairy and conducted preliminary enquiry for prevent the untoward law and
order incident in this matter, on enquiry it came to light it is purely civil disputes between the petitioner and the unofficial respondents. Then the 4th respondent police suggested them can approach the competent authority to settle the civil disputes and police never interfered into this matter after knowing it is purely civil dispute.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders.
5. In that view, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are
directed not to interfere in the civil disputes between the parties. There shall be no order as to costs.
