which was rejected on 24.06.2025. Therefore, he is before this Court. 4. A perusal of the material on record would go to show that petitioner is a widow and her husband is arraigned as accused No.2 in the FIR. In the first information, there is no allegation made against the petitioner herein and it appears that she is arraigned as an accused only for the reason that her husband late M. V. Krishna Reddy, was the Managing Partner of accused No.1 - Mayur Daffodills. The alleged offences are triable by the Court of Magistrate and the maximum punishment for the alleged offences is imprisonment for a period of seven years. Petitioner, who is a widow has no other criminal antecedents. Under the circumstances, I am of the opinion that the prayer made by the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail needs to be answered affirmatively. Accordingly, the following order:-
5. The petition is allowed. The respondent - Police or any other police in the State of Karnataka are directed to release the petitioner in the event of his arrest in Crime No.319/2024 registered by Jayanagar Police Station, Bengaluru City, for the
