The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kuchai P.S. Case No. 29 of 2023, for the offence registered under Sections 341, 324, 325, 307 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Seraikella. Petitioner is alleged to have inflicted a single blow by a sharp cutting weapon upon the father of the informant, due to which, he sustained injuries on his neck. It was submitted that petitioner has remained in custody for a year. It was further submitted that the trial of the case is going on and the informant has been examined in this case. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Seraikella, in connection with Kuchai P.S.
