The petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 39/2023 arising out of Maranghada P.S. Case No. 16 of 2023, for the offences registered under Sections 15(c), 22, 25 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Khunti. 3. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 10590 of 2023 by order dated 20.03.2024. 4. On 24.05.2023, Maranghada Police intercepted a pickup van bearing Registration No. JH-01CA-8252 and seized 1213.400 Kgs. of poppy husk. Petitioner was apprehended while he was fleeing away from the place of occurrence on seeing the police party. 5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 24.05.2023. 6. Considering that fact that the commercial quantity of poppy husk was recovered from the possession of the petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
