Petitioner is aggrieved that despite being at Serial No. 179 in undisputed seniority list, his name is not referred in the list dated 07.02.2025 issued by respondents for consideration of promotion from the post of Executive Assistant to Assistant Executive Officer. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner refers para 21 of writ petition that numbers of junior who are even at Serial Nos. 424, 533, 549 and 518 in seniority list, are in the zone of consideration for promotion. 4. Learned counsel appearing for respondents submits that there may be some legal impediment and for that he will seek instructions or respondents will inform petitioner about any legal impediment within a very short period since the meeting of promotion committee has still not taken place. 5. In aforesaid circumstances, before going further into merit of case, an opportunity is granted to respondents to communicate petitioner why his name is not included in the list of candidates who are in the zone of consideration for above referred promotion and that why he was left out and his juniors were included in the list. This communication shall be made within a period of two weeks from today and on basis of such communication, petitioner will have liberty to take any legal recourse, if warranted and if so advised. 6.
