Petitioner has approached this Court for seeking extension of interim temporary bail granted by learned Special Judge (NDPS Cases) Jammu, in a case arising out of FIR No. 07/2021 for offences under Sections 8/21/29 of NDPS Act. 02. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that ordinarily the petitioner would have approached the learned Trial Court for extension of interim temporary bail granted to him by the said court in view of the worsening health condition of his mother but the learned Trial Court vide its order dated 06.03.2025 has observed that no further application for extension of temporary bail shall be considered in future. It has been submitted that because of the worsening health condition of the mother of the Serial No. 18 2 Bail App. No. 107/2025 petitioner, the concession of temporary bail granted by the learned Trial Court deserves to be extended. 03. Having regard to the limited prayer sought by the petitioner in this petition, the same can be disposed of at the threshold itself by extending appropriate directions to the learned Trial Court. 04. Accordingly, the petitioner is given liberty to approach the learned Trial Court with a prayer for extension of temporary bail granted to him and, in case, if such an application is filed within a period of one week from today, the learned Trial Court shall consider the same in accordance with law on its merits notwithstanding the observations made by the said court that no further application for extension of bail shall be considered in future. For the said period of one week, w.e.f today i.e., 21.04.2025 till 28.04.2025, interim temporary bail granted by the learned Trial Court in favour of the petitioner shall remain in operation subject to the conditions contained in the said order. 05.
