Sushil Kukreja, Judge The present appeal has been filed by the appellants/HRTC against the impugned awards dated 16.01.2019 & 06.01.2022, passed by the Court of learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal-III, Mandi, District Mandi, H.P. titled as Pooja Devi & others vs. Managing Director, HRTC & Ors., whereby an amount of Rs.6,98,320/- along with interest @ 7.5% per annum from the date of filing of the petition till realization of 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 ( 2025:HHC:37072 ) the whole amount, has been awarded in favour of respondents No.1 to 4, which is to be paid by appellants/HRTC 2. On 31.07.2025, keeping in view the nature of dispute inter se parties, the matter was referred to the mediation of Ms. Richa Sharma, Advocate. 3. Today, the report of learned Mediator has been received, whereby, it was informed that mediation proceedings have been decided and dispute inter se parties stood amicably settled and the appellants had decided not to press the present appeal. 4. At this stage, in view of the aforesaid report, learned counsel for the appellants, seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present appeal. 5. Therefore, in view of the aforesaid background, the present appeal is dismissed, as withdrawn. 6. Before parting, I would like to record words of appreciation for learned Mediator Ms. Richa Sharma, Advocate, for her earnest efforts for materializing settlement and also for learned counsel and parties whose active cooperation has resulted into happy ending of litigation.
