In this writ petition, the petitioner is assailing the order dated 22.04.2025 (Annexure-A), passed by the respondent No.2. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:23950 WP No. 19213 of 2025 4. Having taken note of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner wherein, the petitioner is seeking regularisation of unauthorised land and accordingly, made an application to the respondent No.4. The said application came to be rejected on the ground that, the petitioner herein is not residing in the said village and that apart, the petitioner owns 2.32 acres of land in Karambaru village and as a result, the petitioner was not considered a landless person. 5. It is also forthcoming that, the proceedings have been initiated against the petitioner herein under the provisions Karnataka Land Grabbing Prohibition Act 2011, and in that view of the matter, since the petitioner is having the land to an extent 2.32 acres, at Karambaru village, I am of the view that, the reasons assigned by the respondent No.2 in the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:23950 WP No. 19213 of 2025 impugned order dated 22.04.2025 is just and proper and no interference is called for in this writ petition.
