GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: 2 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd Respondent in not taking any further steps to file an application before the Special Court under Andhra Pradesh Protection of Depositors of Financial Establishments Act, 1999 after attaching the properties of the Petitioner, to see that the attached properties of the Petitioner are alienated either by the 2nd Respondent or by any Receiver as per the direction of the Special Court to be passed on such application, so as to clear the dues to the Depositors from out of the sale proceeds, even after making a representation by the petitioner dated 29-07-2025 as illegal, arbitrary, contrary to rules apart from violation of Article 19 and 21 of constitution of India.” 2. Sri J.U.M.V.Prasad, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that, no action has been taken on the representation of the Petitioners, dated 29.07.2025. 3. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the Respondent – Police dealt with the cases according to law and filed charge sheets. It is further submitted that the Police are not taking any coercive steps against the Petitioners. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Respondent Authorities to look into the representation submitted by the Petitioner and take appropriate course of action according to governing rules and law. There shall be no order as to costs.
