GP FOR HOME 2 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 22751 of 2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action on the part of the respondent No.2 in interfering with petitioner personal life and liberty by calling petitioner to his Police Station and pressurizing petitioner to get settled the dispute with the respondent No.3 with regard to subject property of O.S. No. 319 of 2021 on the file of the Principal Junior Civil Judge, Punganur, by handing over the vacant possession of the same as arbitrary, illegal, colorable exercise of power and violative of fundamental rights guaranteed to me under Articles, 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondent No.2 not to interfere with my personal life and liberty by calling me to his Police Station and pass....” 2. Heard Ms.S.Parineeta, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on written instructions would submit that in compliance of the orders dated 06.02.2025 passed by Coordinate Bench of this Court in W.P.No.4475 of 2024, the unofficial respondent herein submitted a representation seeking police protection in the civil disputes. During the preliminary enquiry only, the police interfered in the matter. 3 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that recording the same, the petition may be disposed of. 4. Recording the above said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. However, the police are directed not to interfere in the civil disputes between the petitioner and the unofficial respondent.
