Jyotsna Rewal Dua, J. Notice. Mr. Shivank Singh Panta, learned counsel, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of respondents.. 2. Petitioner seeks enforcement of Prem Chand versus The H.P. Tourism Development corporation Limited and others.2 Relevant portion whereof is as under:- “In the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to release the admissible retiral benefits along with statutory interest to the petitioner within a period of six months from today, in accordance with law. If the amount due is not paid within the aforesaid period, the same shall carry interest at the rate of 9% per annum from the due date of actual payment.” 3. At this stage, learned Senior Counsel for the respondents placed on record a computation sheet as also the office 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes 2CWP No.4454/2025, decided on 13.05.2025. 2 communication dated 17.12.2025 and on that basis submitted that remaining payable gratuity and leave encashment to the petitioner in the sum of 4,10,674/- has now been released in his favour. Learned counsel for the petitioner makes out grievance that admissible interest in terms of judgment has still not been paid to the petitioner. Learned Senior Counsel for the respondents submits that respondents shall pay the interest in terms of judgment in question and will clear entire liability to the petitioner on that count by 31.03.2026. 4. Taking note of above submissions, present petition is disposed of with clear directions to the respondents to adhere to the aforesaid timeline as given out by the learned Senior Counsel. Petitioner is at liberty to seek appropriate remedy for redressal of his surviving grievance if any, in accordance with law. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
