Mr. Mrinal Kanti Ghosh …for the petitioners This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the defendant praying for a direction upon the learned Civil Judge (Jr. Division) at Bidhannagar to dispose of the application under Order 39 Rule 1 and 2 of the Civil Procedure Code filed in Title Suit No. 75 of 2020 expeditiously. Mr. Ghosh, learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the injunction application is otherwise ready for hearing. He further submits that June 27, 2025 was fixed for hearing of the injunction application but on that date the hearing of the injunction application was adjourned and the next date has been fixed on November 3, 2025. He prays that the date of hearing of the injunction application be preponed. In the light of the submission made by Mr. Ghosh, learned advocate appearing for the petitioners, CO 2333 of 2025 stands disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioners to file an application before the learned trial judge for preponement of the date of hearing of the injunction application. If such an application is made, the learned Civil Judge (Jr. Division) at Bidhannagar is requested to consider the same in accordance with law. (Hiranmay Bhattacharyya, J.) 2
