GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue a Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly, one in the nature of writ of mandamus. (a) declaring the registration and continuation of FIR No. 81/2025, dated 03.05.2025, Hanurnan Junction Police Station, Krishna District, as illegal, arbitrary, malafide, and violative of the petitioners fundamental rights (b) 2 To direct transfer of investigation in FIR No. 81/2025 to an independent agency, outside the influence of the local police, in the interest of justice (c) To direct the immediate transfer of the Sub-Inspector, Neelapala L.N. Murthy, Hanurnan Junction Police Station, to ensure fair investigation (d) To Direct the Respondents not to take any coercive steps against the petitioner .” 2. Heard Sri P.V.R.Maheswara Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Md.Farooq learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the present petition has been filed seeking transfer of the case to an independent agency, as there has been no fair investigation by respondents 4 and 5. Learned counsel would further submit that, during the pendency of this petition and pursuant to the representation made by the petitioner, respondents 4 and 5 have been transferred. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that, so far, 12 witnesses have been examined in the course of the investigation in the present crime. Furthermore, the petitioner has filed an anticipatory bail application, which has been dismissed. In light of the subsequent events, the question of transfer does not arise, and the relief sought has become infructuous. 5. Considering the submissions made, the police concerned are directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner and conduct fair investigation in this matter. The petitioner is at liberty to place any material which is available with him to the police to conclude the investigation in a fair manner. The police 3 concerned are further directed to conclude the investigation and file a report as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law. 6. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
