1. The petitioners are seeking a direction upon Respondent Nos. 1 to 4 to demarcate the land measuring 155 kanals 06 marlas in Khata No. 345 to 354 situated at village Fatehpur Brahmana, Tehsil R.S. Pura Distt. Jammu.
2. According to the petitioners, their predecessor-in-interest was recorded as owner of the aforesaid land to the extent of 1/4th share and after his death, his share has devolved upon the petitioners through the medium of mutation of inheritance No. 444 dated 22.01.2022. It is being contended that petitioners are in possession of their share in the property in question, but private respondents are trying to interfere into their landed property which prompted the petitioners to file an application under Section 95 of the Land Revenue Act seeking demarcation of the land in question, but no action is being taken by the said respondent on the said application. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. Issue notice to the official respondents only in the first instance. Ms. Monika Kohli, learned Sr. AAG accepts notice on behalf of Respondent Nos. 1 to 4.
4. Having regard to the limited nature of relief being sought by the petitioners, the petition can be disposed of at this stage itself by extending direction to Respondent No. 4.
5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Respondent No. 4 to decide and dispose of the application of petitioners filed under Section 95 of the Land Revenue Act in accordance with law after hearing the petitioners and the private respondents most expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of copy of this order is made available to Respondent No. 4.
