Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No. 136/2024, registered under Sections 308(3)/ 61/3 (5) of the B.N.S., Sections 17/ 18/ 20 (b) (ii) (B) of the N..D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, Latehar. On 22.09.2024 at about 07:20 P.M., Chandwa police apprehended co-accused Umesh Kumar Singh, Ashwani Kumar and Prince Kumar and from their possession cannabis and opium were recovered. It was submitted that the name of the petitioner has transpired in the confession of co-accused. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Latehar in connection with Chandwa P.S.
