ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents No 4 and 5 in interfering with the petitioners life and liberty and harassing

him to pay an amount of Rs 22 00 000/ Twenty Two Lakh Rupees only on the behest of the unofficial respondents is highly illegal an arbitrary exercise of power unjust without jurisdiction and in violation of Articles 14 19 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere with petitioners life and liberty”
2. Heard Sri T.Sai Surya, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.
3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that a case in Crime No.99 of 2025 has been registered against the petitioner for the offence under Section 420 IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the police are insisting the petitioner to pay Rs.22,00,000/- to the unofficial respondents and they are interfering in the civil disputes between the parties.
5. In that view, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are
directed not to interfere in the civil disputes between the parties and further
directed to follow due process in accordance with law regarding the crime registered against the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
