PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following: ORDER:- This Criminal Petition under Section 482 of B.N.S.S., is filed seeking to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner herein/A1 in Crime No.100 of 2024 of Adavuladeevi Police Station, Bapatla District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 85 BNS and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the respondent/State. 3. Perused the record. On 06.09.2024, a case in Crime No. 100 of 2024 of Adavuladeevi Police Station, Bapatla District was registered for the offences punishable under Section85 BNS and Sections 3 and 4 of 2 the Dowry Prohibition Act. Having heard both sides, it is seen that the offences are punishable with imprisonment of seven years and less than seven years. It is, in these circumstances, investigating Police are directed to comply with Section 35(3) of BNSS scrupulously and all the directions given by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the judgment in Arnesh Kumar vs. State of Bihar and other related rulings. 4. With these observations, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
