Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for the Municipal Administration & Urban Development appearing for the 1st respondent, the learned standing counsel for the corporation, appearing for respondents 2 and 3, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, appearing for respondents 5 to 7. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been residing at Door No. 16/176, Vigneswarapuram, Gudur (East), Tirupati District, formerly part of SPSR Nellore District. The petitioner inherited a site admeasuring 40 square yards from her parents. About 40 years ago, a small house was constructed on the said land and the petitioner now intends to carry out certain necessary repairs to stay in the said house without any threat to her life and limb. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 30.04.2025. It is submitted that since the extent of land is only 40 square yards, the representation of the petitioner would be sufficient for according permission to carry out the repairs. However, when the petitioner dumped sand and other construction material, the authorities of respondents 2 and 3 objected to the repairs being undertaken by the petitioner. -3- W.P. Considering the submissions, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition, at the stage of admission, while directing respondents 2 and 3 not to interfere with the repair work undertaken by the petitioner on the said 40 square yards of land, except in accordance with due process of law. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission. No costs. 5.
