Petitioner is presently serving as Assistant Professor (Political Science) at Government College Thachi, Tehsil Balichoki, District Mandi, stated to be a hard area. His case is that, on completion of requisite tenure of service at the present place, he preferred representation dated 07.05.2025 (Annexure P-1) to the respondent /competent 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes - 2 - authority, seeking his transfer to a station of choice. Grievance of the petitioner is that the aforesaid representation has not been decided by the respondents till date. 3. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner would be satisfied in case he is permitted to make a fresh representation to the respondent/Competent authority for the redressal of his grievances for transfer from hard to soft area of his choice, whereafter, respondent /competent authority be directed to consider and decide the same in accordance with law within a time bound schedule. 4. In view of above of the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to prefer a fresh representation to respondent /Competent Authority within a week, whereafter, the same shall be considered and decided by the Competent Authority, in accordance with law and as per applicable transfer policy, within three weeks.
