2. The learned High Court Government Pleader (HCGP) submits that the petitioner's application has been forwarded to the Deputy Commissioner along with the relevant records. He further contends that the land in question includes a coffee plantation, which renders the petitioner’s application ineligible for consideration. 3. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the petitioner, relying on the documents marked as Annexures E, F, and G, argues that the petitioner has been engaged in tree planting activities. Therefore, he asserts that the petitioner is entitled to seek regularization of the unauthorized occupation. 4.
In any case, since the matter is currently pending before the Deputy Commissioner, it is directed that the Deputy Commissioner shall examine the records submitted by the Tahsildar and issue appropriate orders within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. - 4 -
