Learned Single Judge has dismissed the writ petition of the appellant after noticing the fact that due to appellant's wrong mentioning of Code alone, he could not be appointed. The recruitment is of the year 2011. The appellant belonged to Uttar Pradesh but had opted 28 as his Code, which was for State of Punjab. Petitioner could not show his domicile for the State of Punjab. Though we find that the error on part of the appellant was due to inadvertence, but we would not be inclined to come to the aid of appellant after 14 years of the holding of recruitment. The appellant is to blame himself for the denial of appointment to him. Special appeal, accordingly, is dismissed.
