GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE TARLADA RAJASEKHAR RAO WRIT PETITION NO. 22065 of 2025 ORDER: Precisely, the writ petition is filed to direct the 3rd respondent/Joint Collector to dispose of the revision petition, dated 22.09.2023 filed by the petitioners for cancellation of DKT patta issued in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.1.46 cents in Survey No.375-1 in Rajampet Revenue Village and Mandal, Annamaiah District. 2. It is asserted in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition that soon after the petitioners came to know that the DKT patta was granted in favour of the unofficial 6th respondent in respect of the subject land, they preferred revision petition before the 3rd respondent for cancellation of the DKT patta. It is also further asserted that the land which is assigned to the unofficial 6th respondent is a private land and there is a legal obligation on the part of the 3rd respondent to dispose of the revision petition filed by the petitioners. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioners stated that the revisional authority is bound to decide the case in accordance with law expeditiously. The urgency that is stated that the property rights are involved in the case if the delay is occasioned that it will be detrimental to the petitioner. Hence pleaded to direct the revisional authority to dispose of the revision in a time bound manner in accordance with law. 4 4. Ergo the Court directs the 3rd respondent revisional authority to make an endeavour to put an end, by making all the efforts in deciding the case with due diligence within a reasonable time for disposal of the revision case filed on 22.09.2023 on merits and as per law, after hearing all the parties to the dispute, as expeditiously as possible and in any case, not beyond three months from the date of receipt of the copy of the order. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
