The appeal was preferred against judgment dated 8th September, 2020 dismissing his client's petition for dissolution of marriage. The marriage has since been dissolved on order dated 25th October, 2024 by the Supreme Court upon a settlement agreement being tendered. By said order the Supreme Court recorded settlement in respect of inter alia present first appeal. In the circumstances, he submits, there is nothing left in decided in the appeal. None appears on behalf of respondent. We understand she is no longer interested in view of the settlement. By said order dated 25th October, 2024, the Supreme Court itself disposed of this appeal. We record so for purpose of the record of this Court. The appeal stands disposed of as directed by order dated 25th October, 2024 of the Supreme Court in Criminal Appeal no. 4494 of 2024 arising out of SLP (criminal) no. 343 of 2024 (Smt.
