The petitioner has impugned the order dated 27th February 2023, whereby the respondent No. 5 has been appointed as Lambardar for Village Ukaii Tehsil Paddar, District Kishtwar. 2. The period of engagement was six months and the said period has expired. But this is also a fact that vide order dated 28th April 2023 the order impugned was stayed by this Court. 3. Official respondents have filed the response wherein they are admitting that the private respondent was appointed as Lambardar on temporary basis. 4. This petition has been pending before this Court for the last more than two years and no fruitful purpose shall be served by retaining the present petition on board and as such the same is disposed of by directing the respondents to hold the election for the post of Lambardar for Village UkaiiTehsil Paddar, District Kishtwar within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order.
