(Oral) The petitioners responded to an advertisement issued by the respondent no.2, Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (“the Commission”) for recruitment to the post to Pashudhan Prasar Adhikari and others positions 2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 3. It is a grievance of the petitioners that the syllabus that has been published by the respondent no.2, the Commission is not in accordance with the Service Rules. It is a specific case of the petitioners that subject Chemistry is not in the Rules for examination to the post of Pashudhan Prasar Adhikari. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners would refer to Rule 16 of the Uttarakhand Animal Husbandry Department Livestock Extension and Poultry Development Service Rules, 2009. He would also argue that the State Government has also 2 directed the respondent No.2, the Commission in the month of February, 2025 to see that the Chemistry is not the subject for examination for the position of Pashudhan Prasar Adhikari. But, it is argued that no action has been taken by the respondent no.2, the Commission. 5. On 06.03.2025, learned counsel for the respondent no.2, the Commission had submitted that the Commission considered that the position of Pashudhan Prasar Adhikari should have some basic knowledge of Chemistry, therefore, this syllabus is added. On that date, the Court wanted to know as to who is the person that can override the position of syllabus in the Rules? 6. Today, learned counsel for the respondent no.2. the Commission would submit that for the position of Pashudhan Prasar Adhikari fresh advertisement will be issued in accordance with the Rules and syllabus shall be prepared accordingly. The written instruction, as received, has been placed for the perusal of the Court. Let it be taken on record. 7. The Court takes on record the statement made by learned counsel for the respondent no.2, the Commission. 8.
