Supplementary affidavit filed today by learned counsel for the petitioner is taken on record. 2. Heard Sri Mritunjay Mohan Sahai, learned counsel for petitioners, Sri Ajal Krishna, advocate for respondent no.3. and learned Standing Counsel for State-Respondents. 3. Petitioners before this Court are claiming consideration for their promotion on the post of Head of Department. 4. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that since a revised notification dated September, 2024 is now adopted and in this regard a public notice is issued on 10.03.2025, therefore, legal impediment, if any, for considering prayer of petitioners is removed and their claim can be considered in the light of said notification. 5. Learned Standing Counsel submits that since there is a subsequent event, therefore, claim of petitioners will be considered in accordance with law. 6. In aforesaid circumstances, instead of entering into merit of case at this stage, the writ petition is disposed that claim of petitioners will be considered by concerned respondent taking note of above referred subsequent events within a very short period, preferably before any fresh advertisement is published for direct recruitment.
