Petitioner Arun Kanti Roy and respondent No.1 Ms. Ritika Ahuja are present in person with their respective counsel. 2. In sequel to the orders dated 17.04.2026 and 12.05.2026, it is heartening to note that on account of intervention of the learned senior counsels, the matter has been amicably settled amongst the parties. 3. It has been agreed upon by the respective parties that the respondents/landlords shall pay a lump sum amount of 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 Rs.13,00,000/- (Rs. Thirteen Lacs only) to the tenant/petitioner within a period of eight weeks from today and in the event of receipt of the said amount, in lieu of which, the petitioner/tenant shall surrender or give up all the rights including the right of re-entry with respect to the demised premises as per the judgment passed by this Court on 27.12.2021 in Civil Revision No. 46 of 2016. It is further made clear that in the event of payment of Rs.13,00,000/- (Rs. Thirteen Lacs only) by the respondents to the petitioner, the petitioner or his legal representatives, family members etc., shall not claim any right, title or interest over the suit property. 4. Similarly, it is undertaken by the learned senior counsel for the respondents that the amount of Rs.13,00,000/- (Rs. Thirteen Lacs only) will be remitted to the saving bank account of the petitioner positively within eight weeks from today. The saving bank account number of the petitioner shall be supplied by the learned senior counsel for the petitioner, during the course of the day. 5. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the respective parties shall withdraw all the cases/complaints pending before the competent court of law or authority. 3 6.
