“Notice. Mr. L.N. Sharma, learned Additional Advocate General, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
2. Petitioner’s representation seeking transfer from difficult/hard area on completion of requisite tenure has been rejected by the Director of School Education on 01.11.2025 on following two grounds: - (i) Ban on transfer has been imposed under State notification dated 04.06.2025 (ii) The school in question is a single teacher school.
3. Records show that it was in terms of decision dated 15.09.2025 rendered in CWP No. 14847/2025 (Jeevana Kumari Vs. State of H.P.), respondents were directed to consider the case of 1 Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes.
2 the petitioner for her transfer. In the given situation, the so called ban, will not come in the way of petitioner’s transfer, more so, when she has admittedly completed the tenure prescribed for serving in difficult/hard areas.

Further, the next ground of school in question being a single teacher school will also not come in the way of petitioner’s transfer as it is for the respondents to ensure posting of someone else rather than compelling the petitioner to continue to serve at difficult/hard area much beyond the prescribed tenure. Let the order for transferring the petitioner from present place of posting, which is difficult/hard area be placed on record on the next date. List on 18.11.2025.

Pursuant thereto, learned Additional Advocate General has also placed on record office instructions dated 18.11.2025 from Director, School Education, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, conveying transfer of petitioner from Government Primary School, Kalangehar, Education Block, Drang-II to Government Primary School, Babli, Education Block, Drang-II against vacancy vide office order dated 18.11.2025. Copy of aforesaid order has also been appended alongwith office instructions.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that latest office instructions and office order dated
3 18.11.2025 have redressed the grievance of the petitioner. In view of the above, the writ petition stands
