JUSTICE CHILLAKUR SUMALATHA ORAL ORDER This is a petition filed under Section 24 of Code of Civil Porcedure seeking the Court to transfer M.C.No.399/2024 which is pending before the court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Mysuru to the Principal Family Court, Bengaluru. 2. Heard Ms.Rachana.M who appears through video conference and represents Sri.Kapil Dixit, learned counsel on record for the petitioner. Also heard Ms.Hemavathi who appears physically before this Court and represents Sri.Poornachandra.B.Pattar, learned counsel on record for the respondent. 3. Gone through the contents of the petition filed seeking the relief claimed. By the contents of the petition it is clear that the petitioner and respondent are legally wedded wife and husband. - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:878 CP No. 293 of 2024 4. Learned counsel for the respondent files a memo whose contents reads that the respondent does not have any objection to effect transfer as prayed for. 5. Having considered the contents of the said memo and also the grounds urged seeking transfer, this Court is of the view that transfer as prayed for is required to be effected. 6. Thus the following: ORDER (i) The Petition is allowed. (ii) M.C.No.399/2024 which is pending before the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Mysuru is withdrawn and transferred to the Principal Family Court, Bengaluru. (iii) The Family Court, Mysuru is directed to transmit entire records in M.C.No.399/2024 duly indexed to the Principal Family Court, Bengaluru within one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order. - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:878 CP No. 293 of 2024 (iv) Both the parties are directed to make their appearance before the Principal Family Court, Bengaluru on 25.02.2025.
