JUSTICE R.K. PATTANAIK Order No. ORDER 09.03.2026 02. 1. Heard learned counsel for the respective parties. 2. Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 BNSS by the petitioners seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Chandaka P.S. Case No.582 of 2025 corresponding to C.T. Case No.3508 of 2025 pending in the court of learned J.M.F.C.(O), Bhubaneswar on the grounds stated. 3. The petitioners are alleged to be involved like the co- accused persons who have been directed to surrender by today’s order in ABLAPL No.1297 of 2026 but it is informed to the Court that petitioner No.5 is having one more criminal case but under Section 498-A IPC and not of similar in nature. Considering the direction for release of the co-accused persons in view of the order in the connected ABLAPL, this Court is inclined to extend parity and such release subject to verification of antecedents and nature of injury, if any, sustained by the informant and other police officials. The above order shall not be given effect to if on an enquiry, the Court below finds that petitioner No.1 is having any other similar antecedent other than case registered under Section 498-A IPC. 4. Accordingly, it is ordered. 5. In the result, the ABLAPL is disposed of with the direction as aforesaid. It is directed that in the event, the petitioners surrender before the learned J.M.F.C.(O), Bhubaneswar in connection with Chandaka P.S. Case No.582 of 2025 corresponding to C.T. Case No.3508 of 2025 within a fortnight from today, they shall be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/-(rupees twenty five thousand) each with one solvent surety for the like amount each with such other conditions subject to verification and absence of similar antecedent and any such injury caused to the police officials on duty found not to be grievous. 6.
