The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Daltonganj (Sadar) P.S. Case No. 74/2024, for the offences registered under Section 310(2) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned C.J.M., Palamau at Daltonganj. On 23.08.2024, Daltonganj Sadar Police, apprehended the co- accused Govind Prasad Gupta while he had gone to the shop of the Ashish Soni for selling jewelries which were proceeds of dacoity. Mr. Rajendra Pd. Gupta, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and his name has come in confession of co-accused persons. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier and the case of the petitioner stands on similar footing. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail, but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Palamau at Daltonganj, in connection Daltonganj (Sadar) P.S.
